The Bukura Bee Company is a Kenyan social enterprise producing pure, raw honey from 200+ hives across western Kenya. We train local beekeepers, run a working commercial apiary, and direct 100% of honey profits to the Lifting Lives children's home.

Training
In partnership with Honey Care Africa and master beekeeper Isaac Adala, we've trained two cohorts of Kenyan beekeepers from the ground up, equipping every graduate with their own hives, tools, and the expert mentorship to use them well.
Harvesting
Our team doesn't disappear after training; regular site visits and check-ins make sure each new beekeeper actually builds a thriving, income-earning apiary. Beekeepers are training in testing the quality of their honey and how to market and sell to customers. They can also sell their honey directly to Bukura Bee Company to sell under the community brand.
