The primary mission of the Lifting Lives Foundation is the care, education, and mentoring of the Gardner Granny children. The goal for each individual child is to guide them to becoming self sufficient, developing positive personal character, and become responsible, contributing citizens.
Beginning in 2012, Lifting Lives assisted in developing the Daisy Academy, a school campus in the rural area of Bukura, Kenya. Carolyne Ashiono, a gifted educator and administrator, is the school director. The Gardner Granny homes sits on the school's campus and the primary age Gardner Granny children attend the school. It has continued to be ranked number one out of the 82 schools in the district.
